Scene 16: The Foundation of the Order of Crossinium
Exterior ANCIENT CITY – DAY
Centuries ago, humanity was on the brink of destruction. The demons and witches unleashed plagues that decimated entire populations, threatening to wipe out the human race. In this dire time, God sent two of His mightiest angels, Raphael and Michael, to aid humanity and establish a bulwark against the forces of darkness: the Order of Crossinium.
Exterior ANCIENT CITY – DAY
The city is in ruins, the streets filled with the sick and dying. The air is thick with the stench of decay and the cries of the suffering. Amidst this chaos, two figures of divine radiance descend from the heavens, their presence bringing a momentary calm to the devastation.
RAPHAEL, the healer, has a serene and compassionate demeanor. Her golden hair flows down her back, and her emerald eyes radiate warmth and kindness. She wears a flowing robe of pure white, adorned with symbols of healing and protection. Her wings, shimmering with an ethereal light, stretch out behind her.
MICHAEL, the warrior, is a figure of strength and determination. His chiseled features are framed by short, dark hair, and his piercing blue eyes convey both wisdom and resolve. He is clad in armor that gleams with a divine light, a sword of celestial fire at his side. His wings, powerful and majestic, are a symbol of his unwavering dedication to his divine mission.
Exterior ANCIENT CITY – CENTRAL SQUARE – DAY
Raphael and Michael land in the central square, where a group of surviving humans has gathered. The people, weak and fearful, look up in awe and hope at the sight of the angels.
RAPHAEL
(gently)
Fear not, children of God. We are here to aid you in your time of need. I am Raphael, sent by the Almighty to bring healing and hope.
MICHAEL
(firmly)
And I am Michael, sent to teach you how to stand against the darkness that seeks to destroy you. Together, we will ensure the survival of humanity.
The humans, their faces a mix of hope and desperation, approach the angels. Among them is Elder Thomas, a wise and respected leader of the community. His gray hair and weathered face reflect the years of hardship he has endured.
ELDER THOMAS
(voice trembling)
Angels of the Lord, we are humbled by your presence. Please, tell us how we can save our people and fight this evil.
RAPHAEL
(placing a hand on Elder Thomas’s shoulder)

Raphael then turns to the crowd, her voice soothing and encouraging.

The people, hesitant at first, repeat the phrase. Raphael approaches a young child lying on the ground, sick and weak. She kneels beside the child, placing her hands gently on his forehead.
RAPHAEL

A warm, golden light emanates from her hands, enveloping the child. The child’s eyes flutter open, and color returns to his cheeks. He sits up, looking around in amazement. The crowd gasps, their eyes wide with hope and wonder.
MOTHER OF THE CHILD
(tears of joy)
Thank you, blessed angel! My child is healed!
RAPHAEL
(smiling warmly)
The power of God’s love is within these words. Believe in them, and the Lord will grant you His healing grace.
Interior MAKESHIFT TRAINING GROUNDS – DAY
Meanwhile, Michael trains the able-bodied men and women to fight against the demonic forces. He demonstrates combat techniques, the use of holy weapons, and the rituals described in the Codex Maleficiorum.

The warriors follow his instructions, their weapons glowing faintly as they are blessed. Michael then engages them in combat drills, showing them how to strike with precision and strength.

(shouting)

The demon shrieks as the blessed weapons pierce its flesh, and with a final roar, it is banished back to hell. The warriors, panting but triumphant, look to Michael with newfound respect and determination.
MARCUS
(grinning)
We did it, Michael. We can fight them.
MICHAEL
(nodding)
Yes, you can. Your faith and courage will protect you. Remember what you have learned and stand strong against the darkness.
